In Norfolk
Friendly, family home in Forncett End between Wymondham and Long Stratton, an easy 25 minute drive along the B1113 to Norwich or Diss. An ideal base for visiting South Norfolk.

In Forncett End
From the Jolly Farmers pub, turn into Long Stratton Road. Take first turn right into Tabernacle Lane, then first right into West Road. Proceed over two small speed bumps and take first driveway on left.

From the A11
Drive past Attleborough and turn left off the A11 after the Shell Garage (signposted to Wymondham B1172.) Right at mini roundabout then first right again going back over A11 - (via two mini roundabouts). Follow signs to Spooner Row. Go over level crossing. At the T-junction opposite The Boars Pub, go straight over. At end of this road turn right, then first left into Broom Road. At the end of this road turn right. After approx. 2 miles of open countryside you will come to crossroads by Jolly Farmers pub. Go straight over into Long Stratton Road. Then take first right into Tabernacle Lane, then first right again into West Road. Go past Smith Maltings Farm, over two tiny speed bumps. Sunnyside South B & B is the pink house on the left immediately behind the bungalow called Chapel View.

From the A140
Once in Long Stratton, turn into Swan Lane by the Chinese Takeaway (heading west.) Stay on this road, passing under a narrow railway bridge and following several 90 degree bends for roughly 4 miles. Climb the “hill” (Mill Lane) out of Forncett St Peter and continue into open countryside. Once in Forncett End (no village sign), take first left into Tabernacle Lane, then first right into West Road. Go past Smith Maltings Farm, over two tiny speed bumps. Sunnyside South B&B is the pink house on the left immediately behind the bungalow called Chapel View. N.B. If you reach the Jolly Farmers pub, you will have missed these turnings!

From the A47
Leave the A47 (Eastbound from Kings Lynn) at junction signposted A140 Ipswich. At the bottom of the sliproad off the A47, there is a roundabout, turn LEFT here. (Motorists from Great Yarmouth would turn RIGHT here!) You are now heading north into Norwich but don't worry!! Go straight through the first set of traffic lights by Tesco. Turn LEFT at the next traffic lights onto the B1113 signposted Keswick/Swardeston/New Buckenham. Stay on this road and after approx. 9 miles you will come to the village of Tacolneston. Pass through Tacolneston but turn LEFT opposite a pub called The Jolly Farmers. You are now in Long Stratton Road. Take first RIGHT into Tabernacle Lane and then almost immediately first RIGHT again into West Road. Go past the Smith Maltings farm. Pass over two small speed bumps. Then take first driveway on the left. Sunnyside South is a pink house behind the bungalow called Chapel View.

From Norwich city centre.
Follow signs for the A140 to IPSWICH. You will cross a largish bridge over the River Yare. At a pub called the Marsh Harrier, there is a set of traffic lights. Turn RIGHT at these traffic lights onto the B1113 signposted Keswick/Swardeston/New Buckenham. Stay on this road and after approx. 9 miles you will come to the village of Tacolneston. Pass through Tacolneston but turn LEFT opposite a pub called The Jolly Farmers. You are now in Long Stratton Road. Take first RIGHT into Tabernacle Lane and then almost immediately first RIGHT again into West Road. Go past the Smith Maltings farm. Pass over two small speed bumps. Then take first driveway on the left. Sunnyside South is a pink house behind the bungalow called Chapel View.

Wymondham Town Centre
Leave Wymondham along Station road past the station heading towards Ashwellthorpe. Under railway bridge go right at mini roundabout. At Ashwellthorpe’s village sign and 30mph sign turn right into New Road (signposted to Tacolneston.) Follow New Road for a couple of miles (beware of the sharp 90 degree left-hand bend!) Turn right at the end of New Road into Norwich Road. Then take third left into Long Stratton Road (opposite “Jolly Farmer’s” pub.) Take first right into Tabernacle Lane, then almost immediately first right into West Road. “Sunnyside South” is a large pink house on the left behind the bungalow called “Chapel View”.

From Diss town centre.
Leaving the car park at Morrisons Superstore, turn left at the roundabout onto the A1066. At the next mini-roundabout (by the Park Hotel) turn right, up the hill towards the town centre. Stay on this road for several miles, passing through the village of Shelfanger and straight on to Winfarthing. In Winfarthing, drive past the school and village pub, but be ready to take the next available turn on your right. This takes you past Winfarthing Village hall, out into countryside again. At the T-junction, turn right onto the B1134 and then immediately left, heading north again. Follow this road to its end, again at a T-junction. Turn right onto the B1113 and drive for approx 3 miles until you see The Jolly Farmers pub. Turn right at the pub into Long Stratton Road. Take the next right into Tabernacle Lane, then almost immediately right again into West Road. Go past Smith Maltings Farm, over two tiny speed bumps. Sunnyside South B&B is the pink house on the left immediately behind the bungalow called Chapel View.
